Minimalist

Eiffage, a construction and infrastructure group, was formed in 1992 through the merger of several long-standing French companies. Notable projects include the spectacular Millau Viaduct, and the company is based in Vélizy-Villacoublay, near Paris. In collaboration with Élodie Boyer Conseil as the corporate design agency, unit-design developed the signage for the newly designed headquarters in the spirit of Eiffage's identity: minimalist, practical and representing technical and creative perfection in every detail.

Letters that float

In addition to signposts, room signs and pictograms, the project comprises striking lettering indicating functional rooms such as the staff restaurant. The subtle, almost invisible fixtures attaching the individual letters to glass walls and other surfaces make it look as if they are floating – a distinctly elegant technical solution that fits perfectly with the brand values of Eiffage as a company.
