Mobility stations

Unit-design is developing a modular concept for setting up mobility stations in the city of Bamberg, aiming to integrate the stations harmoniously into the cityscape, which is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This concept emphasizes the importance of careful planning in a historically significant context. The modular stations are designed to facilitate access to various modes of transport and are flexible enough to adapt to different urban conditions. Their adaptability ensures that the mobility stations are easily recognizable and accessible, enhancing the efficiency of the city's transport connections. The implementation concept, developed in collaboration with Nuts One, includes a comprehensive potential and site analysis as well as solutions for the necessary equipment in different urban contexts. It also covers design guidelines, the determination of operational and investment costs, and the exploration of funding opportunities.
