In 2004, unit-design won the invited competition of the Rhine-Main Planning Association for the new route of industrial culture image. The route of industrial culture is an initiative of the Rhine-Main Planning Association and the Rhine-Main Cultural Region. It conveys correlations between economic trade and provides insights into the past, present and future, hence helping people in the region to get to know each other better. The remit covers the overall visual appearance as an exhibition in a public space. Logo, website, posters, regional route guides, books and information and orientation system embody, in the most ideal way, the concepts developed by the initiative of examining traditional, industrial culture, of past, present and future.
