One Rhine-Main

The regional park panorama was created as part of the regional park's communication strategy in 2011, developed by unit-design. The goal was to give the regional park a powerful image that clearly presents the region as a single unit. The bird's-eye view of the regional park gives it an identity and helps to promote understanding of the region.

The regional park panorama was drawn by hand rather than with actual aerial photographs. Following the principle of a mental map, the aim of the composition was to celebrate the various areas and unique characteristics of the region in their own visual way. It was based on numerous sketches and drawings that were merged into one big Photoshop file.
