Past and present

The Henninger Turm tower was built in 1961 as a grain silo for the brewery of the same name. Crowned by an observation platform and restaurant, it became a Frankfurt landmark. It was demolished in 2013, and the outline of the new residential tower on the same site is reminiscent of the original.
The foyer at the entrance to the tower is dominated by a mirrored surface over ten meters long, the graphics for which come from unit-design. These feature an abstract collage of the original Henninger Turm and the Frankfurt skyline: the past linking to the present.
